Established in 2014, Bymarie is now a renowned, independent lampshade design business located in South West London. With a focus on unique quality products as well as a service that is personalised, reliable and affordable. Bymarie has continued to evolve and develop whilst retaining at heart, its core principle: each and every single lampshade is custom made to order and professionally handmade, regardless of their size, shape or cost.
Bymarie has provided bespoke lampshades for homes, businesses, hotels and film sets around the world, with a continuing promise that each and every customer will receive the same dedicated service.
Having also worked in collaboration with a wide-range of interior designers who have required a fresh, unique look or one which they simply cannot find on the high street Bymarie has experience creating a wide-range of beautiful products for many different customers. With the added option to use your own fabric, this opens doors to ever-expanding patterns and texture options. The choices really are endless.
Marie, who is the founder of ‘Bymarie’, studied ‘Surface Pattern Design for Fashion & Interiors’ and graduated in 2008. From a young age Marie has always loved drawing, painting and creating; founding Bymarie has allowed her to express her love for pattern through her expanding collection of lampshades and her love for her art continues to grow daily. All of the designs you see at Bymarie are lovingly hand-drawn, hand-painted by Marie, before being proudly printed onto quality fabric.
There are over 60,000 combinations of lampshade colours, sizes and patterns to select from, which is why extra care and attention is taken to ensure that each and every lampshade created is perfect for you. Each standard lampshade ring has been coated and finished in white to prevent rusting to leave a clean, high-quality result.
